Two Samples vs. Pairing
Q In your own words explain the difference between a paired t test and a two sample t test. Give an example where the two sample t test should be used.
A paired t test is a dependent test where you collect two measurements on each experiment, item or person , so they are related and you can see the difference between dependent observations. In a two sample t test they are independent, so different items or people are observed.
